Sales Contract

Buyer Responsibility
Buyer agrees to keep vaccinations and health checks up to date, to provide a clean environment for your kitten, to never allow this cat to roam freely outdoors, to never place this kitten in a shelter, and to never declaw the cat.
Breach of contract
This contract is legally binding to all parties involved. This sales agreement is non-transferable to other parties
Breach of this agreement will result in cancellation of any warranties, or guarantees, of this kitten. The Breeders maximum liability to the Buyer of any and all losses, claims, damages, or liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the Buyer to the Breeder under this agreement.
Breeder guarantees that the cat being sold is a Pedigree Maine Coon Cat. Reservation Fees are Non-Refundable. The balance is due 7 days prior to delivery of the kitten or in person at pick up.
The kitten can go home starting at 12 weeks old. Unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery fees and applicable cost are not included in the purchase price,
Maine Coon Kittens (PETS)
If the kitten is purchased as pet (NO BREEDING RIGHTS) then the buyer agrees to spay/neuter the kitten before it reaches its 6 month birthday. The purchaser will receive the TICA registration papers for the kitten within 7 days after proof of spay/neuter has been provided to the breeder.
Health Guarantee
Royals of the Lou kittens have a 2 year genetic health warranty (from the date of birth) or until the Cattery is closed- whichever comes first, against all genetic, congenItal, and idiopathic health conditions. In the event of demise, the Breeder will provide a replacement kitten. This replacement will occur within the next three litters after being notified. The buyer must make a reasonable effort to prevent the loss of life. What is “reasonable” will be deemed by the Breeder.
The buyer should take this kitten/cat to a veterinarian and have a complete health check within 48 business hours. If the cat/kitten is found to be unfit for sale due to congenital or hereditary disorder, Buyer may opt for one of the following:
(a) The right to return the animal and receive a refund of the purchase price (*) within 10 business days following receipt of a signed veterinary certification, but excluding the veterinary costs related to the certification that the cat is unfit for; or
(b) The right to return the animal and receive an exchange cat of equivalent value, but not a. refund of the veterinarian cost related too the certification that the cat is unfit.
The buyer must notify the Breeder within 2 business days after the veterinarian determines that the cat is unfit. The written certification of unfitness must be presented to the Breeder within 3 business days. This period starts from when the Buyer receives the certification.
